The Inka Trail 3D/2N

We begin our trek at a moderate altitude of 2,500 meters, going though a tropical rainforest; you will hike up for about ¾ of an hour until you reach the spectacular ancient ruins of Winay Wayna (Forever Young). Late in the afternoon, we will arrive to the Inti Punku (Gates of the Sun), the original entry to the mysterious "Lost City of the Incas", Machupicchu.

You will take a bus down to Aguas Calientes where we spend the night in a hotel of your choice. The next day, hike up to the Pyramid shape Huayna Picchu escorted by your guide. Late afternoon train back to Cusco.

To take the traditional Inca Trail we recommend make your booking at least 5 months in advance because there are limited entrances per day. But if all is full and you are already in Cusco you have many alternative hikes that finish also in Machupicchu, such us: Salkantay, Lares, etc.

Testimonials

I liked this school! Especially my teacher Holga. She was very kind, patient, and so helpful. I want to say thanks so much to her! Japan
